However, their happy life was interrupted by a monk who immediately found out Madame White Snake’s origin. He trapped the husband in a temple where Madame White Snake cannot enter, so she used her magic to summon a flood to destroy the temple...
In this drawing, there is the bridge where the man first met his wife and still waiting for her, and the flood is happening at the back. There is also the monk who persisted in separating them by endlessly watching the couple.
