Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun

Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, the famous symphonic poem for orchestra by Claude Debussy. The composition was inspired by the poem of the same name by Stéphane Mallarmé. I created a series of images based on both the written poem and the music of Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun. The images aim to show the colorful and passionate dream of the faun, where he was sometimes in ecstasy, sometimes in the gloom, a mood that was dictated by his love and desire.
